The best striker to have ever played in the Super League of Malawi. As for Albert you were also in class of your own. The team owes you alot guys. 2: The Malunga family; From Holman to Lenzo to John Green and the others. Lali Lubani shall never forget this family. In fact it will be a curse of highest proportion to try and erase this family from history of the team. 3: Gift Zakazaka; I regard him the best thing to have ever happened to the game of football as far as local talent is concerned. Only setback is that it seems as though the gods were not on his side as at height of his career he was good enough to play in Europe however, such opportunities never saw light of the day. Im yet to come across a winger of his calibre who was so good on both legs. What a rare talent. 4: Joseph Shakira Kamwendo; The current national team captain plying his trade in DRCs TP Mazembe side. A Nomad faithful. Never let us down. He started with jersey number 14 then graduated to the legendary number 10. During his days at Lali Lubani not only was he great goal scorer but also he was scorer of vital and great goals. Another legend you shall always remain in our hearts Shakira. 5: Zozodo; To many the name might sound new but after John Green Malunga departed, Zozodo is the one who carried on with the team at the stands. He could single handedly cheer up the team up to last minute even if we were 5-0 down with his trademark song Zozodo zozodo zozodo waaaaah!! What a spirited supporter we had in Zozodo.
