RCAS has a new policy in place so that all local adoptions will include spay/neuter (Robeson County Residents ONLY) and a rabies vaccine all for $25.00 to help reduce the overpopulation of unwanted animals in Robeson County. Rescue groups are not included in this program. *IMPORTANT RESCUE INFORMATION* If you are a 501c3, youâll need to make sure that your rescue info is up to date with the shelter. Please dont forget this most important step! Contact the shelter prior to the animal being picked up to make sure this info is complete and accurate. The $25 adoption fee is waived for 501c3âs. You may place a hold on an animal for 72 hours. If the animal is not picked up and no further arrangements have been made with RCAS at the end of the 72 hours the hold will be removed. To put a hold on a dog we need the following information: Animal ID # Name of Rescue Group (if there is one involved) Name of person placing hold Phone number of person placing hold Person authorized to pick up animal Date animal will be picked up We ALWAYS need and want Volunteers to socialize, walk dogs or help us keep our shelter clean!
