LAST NIGHT ON SCANDAL! Dintle, literally sick of working in the kitchen, developed hay fever. Sarafina refused to let Dintle go home and gave her medicine from the first aid box instead and insisted she keep on working. Dintle revealed to Gontse how desperate she was to start working as a waitress but Sarafina overheard and warned her that her chances were slim. She also warned Dintle that if she decided to take on Sarafina she would be in big trouble. Anzani saw how keen Yolandi was on Marcel and felt obliged to warn her that she had heard Marcel say that he had a date with someone called Bronnie. Yolandi was devastated but confronted Marcel who was then forced to tell her that Bronnie is his daughter. Yolandi was hugely relieved and despite warnings from Anzani about needing to think about whether she was ready to take on a man with a young child, she told Marcel that she could not wait to meet Bronnie. Marcel couldnt hide his worries about introducing Bronnie to a woman who looks like her late mother. Anzani noticed his uncertainly and read it as shiftiness. Shakira threatened that she would accuse the cops of planting false evidence in her car, but Lerumo would not be put off. The news that Shakira was finally being investigated lead Layla to the conclusion that with all the Nyathis going to jail it was the right time for Quinton to claim his family name and the legacy that goes with it. The forensic report finally confirmed that Layla had been locked in Shakiras car boot and it became clear that not only must she have known about Daniels identity fraud but that she had committed a crime to keep it under wraps. It became clear that it was just a matter of time before she too was arrested.
