As a family member of this horrible and debilitating disease please get yourself edge-u-macated! DONATE! Dump ice! Raise awareness!!! Tell the world ALS Sucks – and then keep telling the world! I do not apologize for clogging up your FB this week… anytime that WE can help people think about OUR blessings I will do so… Whether it’s ALS, Cancer, Alzheimers, Autism, Huntingtons and Depression, (just to name a few) of hideous diseases affecting my family and yours. I’ve caught a little flack this week by reposting so many videos of my immediate family and celebrities’ accepting the challenge to support ALS. What most people don’t know is that all most all of these people contributed $$$ Family members have given before many times in many, many ways supporting their family members incapacitating journey and that love and support won’t go away when this campaign slows down. It’s simple marketing 101 to raise awareness and I applaud everyone’s efforts to unite in this small way… Don’t some people get it? Dumping cold ice water takes your breath away for a SECOND… ALS take your breath AWAY! Period.
