LAW AND FAITH Heb 11:1 - 3 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. THE SIMPLE EXPLANATION OF FAITH. THE BEST EXPLANATION I CAN GIVE OF FAITH IS: FAITH IS LIKE FUEL IN A CAR OR AIRLPANE TO TAKE YOU TO A DESTINATION. IF WE DO NOT HAVE FAITH, WE DO NOT OVERCOME SIN. AND SIN IS A DIFFERENT THING ALTOGETHER In the first arrangement or covenant, God required animal blood for the sin the children of Israel committed, but this was not effective for the blood of animal does not take away sins. Therefore God promised through Jeremiah (31:31-34) to change the covenant which he did through His son. Therefore we do not need the blood of bulls and calves for the blood of Jesus now and ever. Does that mean we continue to sin because we have a living sacrifice? No, we don’t. Heb 6:4 - 6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. Rom 3:21-27 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. IF THE GOD WE WORSHIP DOES NOT HAVE A LAW, HOW WOULD HE JUDGE THE WORLD OR MANKIND? Rom 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; Rom 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Rom 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) Rom 4:6-8 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. Here the Holy Spirit was speaking through David (before the time of Jesus) that a man would be righteous or blameless (sinless) without works meaning.. A man who kept the ten commandments faithfully does not need to offer animal sacrifices and other rituals although the Law requires it Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. Rom 6:10-14 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Rom 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Can anyone remove remove Romans 6:15?. It is very clear faith is one thing and sin is another. Faith does not motivate a believer to sin by breaking God’s commandments BUT will make a believer keep all the commandments. 1Jn 2:3, 4 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie”. ANY ONE WHO IS AGAINST THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IS OF THE DEVIL.THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM. THOSE WHO FIGHT AGAINST THE RESTORATION OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS ARE FIGHTING AGAINST GOD, AND MUST BEAR IN MIND THAT NO POWER HAD OVERTHROWN GOD. I CAN NOW SEE AND WITNESS WITH MY OWN EYES THAT THOSE WHO FIGHT AGAINST GOD ARE STARTING TO PAY A HEAVIER PRICE – BOTH LOCALLY AND ABROAD; AND DO NOT REGRET TO PREACH IT. HAPPY SABBATH !! EVERYONE.
