LCSC is pleased to announce that we will be offering evaluations for a U13 Girls Select team for the 2014-2015 season. The team will be coached by Janine Benson. U13 Girls – Select Evaluation #1: June 24th 6:00-7:00pm Tuesday Evaluation #2: July 8th 6:00-7:00pm Tuesday Evaluation #3: July 17th 6:00-7:00pm Thursday Evaluation #4: July 27th 4:00 -5:00pm Sunday The concept of a Select Team is to offer players that are interested in playing at a higher level of competition an opportunity to do so. This would include more competitive indoor/outdoor game sessions, tournament play (playing up age levels or skill levels), and potential participation in State Cup play. Please take a minute to read the program Overview below. Playing on a Select Team is an excellent opportunity to advance your skills as players and as a team, however, it requires a significant committment from players and parents alike. ******************************************************** U13 Girls Select program will consist of: (16-18 players) –Competitive level $1395/player Overview: This program is designed to offer a more competitive soccer experience to age eligible players. The program will be a “Select” team and require participation in evaluated tryouts. Selection to the team will not guarantee playing time. Playing time will be at the discretion of the coach. Players are expected to attend all practices, games, tournaments and outside trainings unless discussed and approved by the coach. Outdoor practices dates/time and locations will be at the discretion of the Coach. Indoor practices dates/times and locations are set by the facility. Limited facilities availability may require change in venues to accommodate additional indoor practice/game play. The commitment is for a complete season, consisting of all indoor sessions as well as outdoor spring play in CDYSL and Sate Cup. Once a player accepts a position on the team the fees are non-refundable and are expected to be paid in full unless there are extenuating circumstances such as a season ending injury, these issues will be addressed in a case by case basis and reviewed by the coach, technical director and the travel Coordinator. Leaving this team without approval and not paying the balance due will result on a hold being placed on your LCSC account; you will not be able to participate in any other LCSC programs until the balance is resolved. Playing on a “Select” team requires the commitment not only of the player but the parents as well. Your Fee would cover: • Outdoor fall practices Sept thru Nov • Outdoor practices, outdoor games, (held May and June) • Professional Coach fees, including speed and agility training. • Indoor practice time for 2 x week 17 (34 sessions) weeks at 1 1/2 hour per week (Nov - Mar) • Indoor game session 1 November/December) two teams • Indoor game session 2 (January/February) two teams • Indoor game session 3 (March/April) one team • Additional group Goal Keeper training every week, held during indoor session (Nov – Mar) • Registration and insurances for the outdoor league Not included in the fee are tournament fees, traveling, accommodation and meals expenses for players and coaches while traveling to tournaments and/or games. Additional training gear i.e. warm ups, bags, etc. Ref fees for outdoor leagues are also not covered. Any additional spirit wear must be approved by the BOD of LCSC prior to purchase.
