LEARN ABOUT THE VOCATION OF DEACONESS Phoebe Academy–High School (PA–HS) provides an opportunity for high school women to learn about the vocation of deaconess in the church from a theological perspective. This years event takes place on the campus of Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana, August 1–3. Attendees will explore Gods Word on Mercy and what it means for us today while developing friendships with like-minded women that can last a lifetime. They will also meet deaconesses, who are serving in the church, learn what they do and how they are trained to serve.
