LEARN FROM PROPHET ELIJAH ! 1 Kings 19: 4, “ … and Elijah requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life …” A woman, Jezebel, sent an official message to Elijah that she was going to kill him the next day and Elijah began to see death. Elijah even began to pray for death; that God should take away his life before Jezebel catches him and publicly and ruthlessly kills him … Yet God had the very opposite for him, that Elijah should never die, that at the end of his ministry on earth, Elijah should be caught up straight into Heaven in chariots, in royal Heavenly escort. Every child of God will face extremely desperate moments in this life but don’t make desperate decisions like Elijah did; rather always pray for God’s will and wait upon God, for your moment of glory or chariots might be around the corner, and that’s the time the devil would want you to see death, to kill yourself, to lose hope or to give in.
