Reno Bronzal TEXT : Colossians 2:6-7 As ye have therefore received YEshua Messiah the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.. Mark 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Colossians 2:6 As ye have therefore received YEshua Messiah the Lord, so walk ye in him: After we’ve been saved and called out from the world by water baptism, Christ now became our apparel and the Holy Ghost now our oil that keep our light shine. After we have Christ and the Holy Ghost, we are tasked to walk our lives in them. What does it takes to walk in them? In our walk with Yahshua HaMessiach, we will have to learn the true essence of patience and endurance in our spiritual life! What is ENDURANCE? The definition of Endurance is to abide under, to bear up courageously (under suffering), to tarry, to continue in the same state under the times of harsh trials and temptations, to be steadfast, patient, to suffer evil, and to endure hardness. Yochanan (John) 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. I Kepha (Peter) 1:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. 1 Peter 2:20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. Yaaqob (James) 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. James 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. MattithYah (Matthews) 24:13, Yahshua, says, the one who endures to the End the same shall be saved. Endurance is a thing/or quality we must have or develop in order to be successful in this walk with him. Without endurance we will not be able to develop to the level of maturity YHWH wants us to obtain. Yaaqob (James) 1:12 it states; Blessed is a man who perseveres (Endures) under trial, for once he has been approved, he will receive The Crown of Life, which YAHWEH has promised to those who love HIM. The Testing of our FAITH (Emunah) James 1:3-4 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. The testing of our faith (emunah) is what produces patience and Endurance. In Yaaqob 1:3 it states, knowing that the testing of your emunah produces endurance, (4) and let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing! Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. 1 Thessalonians 1:3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; 2 Thessalonians 1:4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: What Produces Spiritual Growth? So we must understand that endurance and patience to walk in Christ produces growth in our spiritual man, and it will have its perfect result, because through it all YAHWEH has a prize for us, and its called eternal life!!! Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 22:14 Can your hearts endure, or can your hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with you? I, the LORD, have spoken and will do it. In QorintYah (I Corinthians) 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. YAHWEH is saying HE will allow us to endure hardships and temptations that are common to us, things that were in knowledge of, but only to the extent that they will not over power us or destroy us. HE will not let us be over-taken or destroyed by the things were enduring in our times of harsh trials and temptations, because HE promised, to make a way of escape! YAHWEH is faithful, we can count on HIM to act, HE cant lie, HE must perform HIS word. If HE said it, HE will perform it! Job 2:9-10 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. 10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. In Iyob (Job) 2:9, Iyob wife said to HIM, Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse Elohiym, and die! You see Iyob (Job) was under going extreme and harsh trials. HE endured great sufferings with the death of all of his children, the lost of all of his cattle and his property, then he suffered extreme pain from boils that Satan put all over his body, which YAHWEH allowed. Yet through all these circumstances, he never cursed ABBA YAHWEH, or laid a charge to HIM. In verse 10, Iyob responded to his wife regarding her suggestion to curse YAHWEH, You speak as one of the foolish women speaks, shall we indeed accept good from YAHWEH and not accept adversity? In all that Iyob went through he did not sin with his lips. Iyob was a man of YAHWEH who endured all, but his emunah remained in YAHWEH! YAHWEH is righteous in all HE allows us to suffer and go through. Its all for HIS purpose, although in our little small minds we may not understand why; yet still YAHWEH works all things out for HIS good, those who Ahava (love) HIM and are called according to HIS purpose. Hebrews (Ivrim) 6: 9-15 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. 10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, 14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. 15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Endurance is the key to developing YAHWEHs righteous character in us, through YAHSHUA HaMessiyah! Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. 2 Timothy 3:10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience Revelations 2:2-5 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: 3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my names sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. 4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. HE Endured All Things, Even Death, for Us 2 Timothy 2:1-3 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Yeshua Messiah. 2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Yeshua Messiah. In TimothiYah (II Timothy) 2:3, it states, suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of YAHSHUA HAMESSIYAH! YAHSHUA the MessiYah endured torture, a beating, being spit on, called names, and nails being driven through HIS hands, yet the scripture states HE complained not. Even when YAHSHUA was brought before Herod and Pontius Pilate, HE opened not HIS mouth to complain, but HE Endured all things, even the death of The Torture Stake! Colossians 2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. James 5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 2 Peter 1:5-8 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Yeshua Messiah. I hope this lesson has been a blessing to all those who heard it and understand YAHWEHS purpose for us to Endure all things until the end of our lives, knowing that we have a Blessed Hope in YAHSHUA HAMESSIYAH, that when HE comes back HE will raise us up to Eternal Life.
