LET ALL TEACHERS go home we have so many jobless qualified graduates who can deliver. Our children are just being victims of teachers who cannot sign the performance contract coz they know too well they have other business es. They have almost 90 leave days. Who else in kenya enjoy that? What madness is this? Majority of teachers especially the older ones run lucrative businesses.be it matatu,botique,posho mills,land buying agents,farming etc.I agree the amount of salary for the teachers is not enough compared to what they earn outside employment.It is the high time the government employed younger professional teachers and allow the rich older teachers to retire or simply fire them.This madness will never stop.majority of employees in the private sector are not allowed to run other businesses.The government is lying too low.
