LET BROTHERLY LOVE CONTINUE..... Im kinda known for showing love to my FB family and friends.. and then theres my Blood who I adore. Today I want to highlight my younger brother David Jones! He had a birthday concert in ATL last Saturday and I wanted to surprise him with a visit. I booked my flight weeks prior and kept it a big secret! I drove up to St Peter MB church (with Walter Jones Jr. and Tonya Claytor) and we had to park like a couple blocks down the road because David had packed the house out. All the Top choirs in ATL was there and Sundays Best winner sat next to me (David made me play organ for him lol). It was my visit to ATL when I realized how LOVED David is among the Gospel Music Community Nationwide. It was HIS birthday, but he dedicated the entire offering that night to the Homeless! That boy got my Spirit :-) I went BACK to St Peter for Sunday morning service and all the Senior Citizens were daring me if I stole David from them they would KILL ME.. (its a Baptist church by the way). David and I, out of 9 children, are the only ones who play the Keys, we both became Minister of Musics of our churches, we both were elevated to District and then State Min of Music in COGIC, we both started singing groups. If my parents had twins, he would be mine (although they thought me and Larry Jones were twins for years). Yep, we the Joness.. we dont die, WE MULTIPLY!!!
