A source in Dakar, Senegal, provided the cell number of Lt. Colonel Musa Savage and Sana Jarju, the Chief Protocol Officer traveling with Jammeh to reach them for comment. The source said Savage and General Saul Badjie are the ones trying to mess up the operation. Savage declined to comment. He is said to be heading the soldiers at the State House resisting the invasion. Saul Badjie remarked: Ask your mother and father. Another Gambian activist told this paper that the mutineers were turned in by a mole amongst them. But former Army Lieutenant officer Kajau Touray disagrees. It has been alleged that the mutineers were in touch with some of the soldiers in The Gambia prior to the operation trying to recruit them to join them. But Mr. Kajau Touray said the operation was never leaked until the mutineers arrived in The Gambia. Touray said he knows some of the ring leaders of the coup. He said the coup leaders are seasoned officers with wealth of military experience. Journalist Abdoulie John said he tried to reach Louis Gomez of the NIA for a foreign media he is reporting for, but Gomez cursed his mom. Freedom Radio is covering the mutiny live.
