LETS TELL THE TRUTH.. Had an employee quit work back Sept 30 via a text message (I thought what a cowardly and unprofessional manner). When She left she took to the keys to my business with her. when I asked for the keys back she stated isnt that Sweet..... when I get my check youll get your keys. Well, I dont care how educated you may think you are... it JUST doesnt work that way. So after a while of trying to get the keys returned to me, I changed the front door locks. This employee (who is a relative) insisted that she would not return the keys until I did what she demanded in the way she demanded. I even asked her to mail the keys to me and she still refused unless I met her demand. THIS IS CALLED THEFT and I was not obligated under any circumstances to bow down to her crazy demand. As I told her Ill process your paycheck AFTER I receive the key to my business. I have 27 employees who work for me and never ever has one of them ever questioned or worried about their paycheck. They get bonuses, 15 paid vacation days a year, in addition to 1 week vacation. We operate very well together. I dont tolerate any employee that neglect the mission of why Im in this business... which is specifically to EDUCATE OUR YOUTH AND PREPARE THEM FOR THEIR FUTURE. I DONT TOLERATE PEOPLE WHO FEEL IM TO PAY THEM JUST FOR SHOWING THEIR FACES IN THE BUILDING - SHOW UP LATE THEIR FIRST 7 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT - OR WHINE WHEN THEY HAVE TO DO 1 HR OVER TIME EVEN THOUGH THEY DIDNT WORK A 40 HOUR WEEK. Sorry So this employee contacted the Labor Relations Board who confirmed my position and they WROTE HER A LETTER AND TOLD her she would not get her paycheck until she return the BUSINESS KEYS and by a particular date.....failure to meet that date would result in her forfeiting HER PAYCHECK. Once again she in her cowardly manner involved another innocent cousin to bring the keys to me.... okay.. thats fine but they arrived on December 16th. 3 days before paychecks were issued. Paychecks were done on December 16th, picked up on the 17th and distributed early with a Christmas bonus on Friday, December 19th. And after the innocent cousin reported back to them.... this employees mother had the never to call my sick mother to fuss about me.. FUSS ABOUT YOUR OWN DAUGHTER HER AND HER TWISTED MINDSET ... Fruit doesnt fall far from the tree. Im a 56 year old woman.. what in the world would you call my mother for??? ... Just call me Now YOU wants to bash me in front of the family via FACEBOOK... well If YOU needed that money so badly for Christmas then it was YOUR responsibility to ensure I got the keys in a timely manner maybe like on the date you quit.. or 1 week after you quit or even 1 month after you quit. Stop thinking I was responsible to operate on YOUR timeline or YOUR demands... Grow up and admit YOU ARE WRONG... or just LET IT GO... AND PLEASE Stop making a fool of yourself. The Labor Relations Board told you YOU ARE WRONG... and Stop calling on God to justify YOUR MESS . You have someone in your life that has been cleaning up your mess all your life and they picked up the mop and cleaned up after you again SO YOUR CHILDREN COULD HAVE A CHRISTMAS simply because youre to selfish and self-centered to do what you needed to do as a woman AND a mother. . .. .then you and your mother both want to point the finger at me... GET REAL AND NOW YOU WANT TO TAKE ME OFF THE FAMILY GROUP PAGE... how silly.... dear Im still family----- I am the child of the child of the child of CLARENCE BENNETT... you cant stop that... Sorry I had to subject my other friends to this drama.. .but enough is enough already.
