LEWISTON, ID - An open house style public meeting will be held at the Lewiston City Library from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday in regard to a corridor study that the Lewis Clark Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization and the City of Lewiston are working on. The study will identify issues related to traffic, sidewalks, bicycle, pedestrian, streetscape, bus facilities, and parking that can be addressed within the existing right-of-way of the public street system. This study will guide future projects. From Lewis Clark MPO: The open house is an opportunity for the public to provide input and to help identify areas of concern related to the Downtown Lewiston Main and D Transportation Corridor. Please join us on Tuesday, August 19th and share your thoughts. Should you be unable to attend this open house but would like to submit written comments, please email Dawn Carroll at dcarroll@kellerassociates. For more information about the study, please contact Nathan Cleaver at (208) 288-1992. The Lewis Clark MPO is committed to providing access and reasonable accommodation in its services, programs, and activities and encourages qualified persons with disabilities to participate. If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation or have questions about the physical access provided at this meeting, please contact the meeting coordinator at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the meeting at (208) 298-1345.
