I was under the impression that the objective of taking photos of yourself on the front camera of your phone was simply to have a quick, easy picture of yourself. And that if you wanted a group photo with your phone, you simply asked someone to take the picture for you. Please someone explain to me the purpose of the selfie stick, then. No really. I actually want to know. I would also like to know if people who own this contraption actually carry it around with them. Somehow that seems to defeat the purpose of convenience. Contrary to the tone of this paragraph, I am not angered by the existence the selfie stick nor by those who own them. But I must confess that I truly do not understand. I think its probably one of those things that people are more amused by rather than actually take seriously. Throw in your two cents.
