“LF Hancocks Delight” is a beautiful 2010 AQHA registered bay mare. Gracie stands approximately 15.2 hands tall and is big bodied and stout with a light rose bay color that is eye catching whether she is in the show pen, on the ranch, or out on the trail. She is a pretty mare who has size, body and eye appeal to spare. She is sound, with great foundation breeding (born on a Montana ranch where they breed for performance), and has excellent legs and feet. Her show experience is limited due to her age, but she has been shown lightly in the reining and cow horse classes as well as ranch horse pleasure, horsemanship and showmanship. Gracie’s cow experience is also limited but she is bred for it and has shown GREAT natural affinity for it. As a coming 5 year old she is very mature for her age and is extremely broke. She is slow legged and in tune to the rider’s body. This young mare has more whoa then go. Currently Gracie is being used to teach lessons for novice and beginner riders for both her Western oriented owner/trainer and an eventing/jumper trainer (including lead line lessons with kids as young as 5)--but she is broke and talented enough to teach the advanced rider looking to refine their skills and be competitive both in and out of the show pen. Recently Gracie has been used as a drill horse on the Smokin Guns drill team in which she was a part of the 2014 Cow Palace Champion drill team. She carries a flag great both by herself and with others. She carried flags at the 2014 Livermore Rodeo and has been used by the teenage Miss Livermore Jr. Rodeo for queen runs and events in which she performed beautifully and quietly. Gracie has also been used as an endurance horse training partner out on the trail. She still needs more trail miles before wed guarantee her to be bombproof, but she is good—great mind and so, so, trainable! She ties, clips, bathes, trailers in ANY kind of trailer, and is great for the farrier and vet. Our ideal owner for Gracie would be an intermediate+ rider looking for a competitive show mount. However, she is so well broke and kind and willing, that a beginner would also be successful with her so long as they were working with a trainer (ONLY because she is young, well trained, and still moving up the levels in showing). In addition, she would perform well in a lesson program that is looking for a solid lesson horse that can be ridden by all levels. Asking $9500.
