LGBTI Peruvian community express their thoughts in regards to the last Human Rights Plan 2014-2016 approved by the Peruvian government which excludes the LGBTI community as a vulnerable community. Basically, we dont exist for the Peruvian government, something that has been noted previously and many times. Let´s see, a hate crime law that could have protected the LGBTI community in Peru in 2013 was rejected by majority by Gana Peru and Fuerza Popular political parties, followed to that, the Civil Union law project was left behind for the next legislature to debated it because the Justice and Human Rights Commission congresists mostly composed of Gana Peru and Fuerza Popular congresists could not reach a consensus and many had severe homophobic comments towards our community, and finally this Human Rights Plan 2014-2016 which excludes and doesnt even mention us as a community. In general, the Peruvian government violates #humanrights of the LGBT community, doesnt give a shit about #equality, can careless about the #LGBTcommunity, does not comply with the #UnitedNations neither with the #CIDH, and ultimately violates also the last resolution given by all the nations members of the #OEA in the last session in Paraguay in which Peru signed to protect the LGBTI community. #Peru violates at all means #LGBT #humanrights
