“LIFE SAVING SURGERY” – You’re seriously thinking about breaking up with them, but you’re not looking forward to dealing with all of the pain afterwards. It’s like saying yes to a life saving surgery knowing you have to go through 6 months to a year of painful therapy as a part of the recovery process. Saying yes to the life saving surgery is a no brainer, you have the easy part. You sign the forms and you lay unconscious on the operating table while the doctors do all of the work. It’s the recovery process that’s the monster in this room, the pain you experience after when you wake up. If I were you I would go for the life saving surgery and trust God for the healing process. At the other end of healing will be a much better life and who knows, even a better lover but you have to say yes to the surgery for the process to begin… (DC Real Talk #2702)
