LISTEN FOLKS, PLEASE LISTEN: I do not know why this keeps happening. I made an appointment today to meet a client. As soon as she shows up, and I look her case up, I find out that she already has an attorney. I just now had to send her away and we just wasted both her time and my time on a Saturday afternoon. IF YOU HAVE AN ATTORNEY, I CANNOT TALK TO YOU ABOUT YOUR CASE. It is unethical for me to do so. It also pisses other attorneys off and gets one a bad reputation among the criminal defense bar when you go talking to other attorneys clients behind their back. If you want me to be your attorney, the best thing to do is hire me from the beginning instead of hiring someone else and then trying to change horses in mid stream. However, if you want to talk to me about your case after you have already hired an attorney, you must either discharge that other attorney FIRST or get him to give me permission to talk to you. PLEASE make a note of this.
