LIVING A LIFE FREE OF EVIL!!!!! *[[Joh 17:15]] KJV* I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. Many believers think that we are born again primarily for heaven. Although when you become born again it is your assurance of making it into heaven, but that is not the ultimate goal for Jesus coming down here to reconcile us back to the Father. In Jesus prayer to the Father before His crucifixion, He asked the Father not to take us from the world but to keep us from evil here in the world. Beloved, there is a higher life for you as a born again than you making it into heaven. Hallelujah!!!!! The word evil as used here is from the Greek word poneros, which means hardship, wickedness, diseased . So Jesus was praying to the Father that He keeps us from hardships, wickedness and diseases which are all products of the fall of man. In Genesis 3:17-19, God told Adams that he will suffer hardships in his works for survival. This was a curse which every single human being suffered until Jesus came to scene. Jesus became this curse for you and i, and so we have been delivered from this curse (gal 3:13). We have now entered into His rest where we have seized from our labour, we dont become fruitful or achieve success by our own works but by the grace of Christ at our advanatge. I SEE YOU BECOMING FRUITFUL IN ALL YOUR WAYS,IN JESUS NAME!!!!! Beloved, grace gives us an advanatge over our peers and foes. We do believe this prayers by Jesus has been answered because Jesus confessed that the Father answers Him always (john 11:42). Therefore we have the assurance that The Father is keeping us from any form of evil as we are His beloved children. NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU SHALL PROSPER, YOU ARE UNTOUCHABLE IN CHRIST. Let us put aside the fear of failure or unsuccess because we are like a tree planted by the river side (Ps 1:3), fruitfulness and success are our nature in Christ. Think of no evil and you will see no evil. Glory to Jesus!!!!!
