LOCAL HOUSTON FOSTER NEEDED TO BRING MADI INTO GCCSR: We received the following from a cocker spaniel friend of ours: Hello Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue, I am searching for a new home for my cocker spaniel, Madison (Madi), just turned 6 years old, neutered male. I have recently come upon some financial hardships, changes in my housing situation (animals are not allowed), as well as time constraints due to my work schedule that do not allow me to continue caring for Madi in the manner that he deserves. Hes playful and loves to run and catch a ball or any chew toy. Hes a happy pet and hes good with children. Madison is a loyal dog, who deserves to live with a family who has the time and love to devote to him. Hes accustomed to being an indoor dog, and he is potty trained as well as crate-trained. He is neutered, and is in general good health. Hes up to date with all vaccines and heart-worm medications. I have attached some photos of Madison in this email. Please let me know if you currently have any space for Madison at your rescue. Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue in Houston, Texas, pulls dogs without discriminating against age or health status, but we will not place a dog in boarding. We believe it is best for them to be in a home environment so we can learn about the kind of home they need in order to thrive. Therefore, in order to pull a dog, we must have a local, approved foster. Fosters must agree to take the dog to our vet located at 9695 Southwest Freeway, and they must attend one event monthly for exposure, ie adoption event, festival, expo, but all expenses are covered by GCCSR. If interested in becoming a foster for GCCSR, please submit an application here: gulfcoastcockerspanielrescue/fostering.php. Fosters are the lifeline of our organization. Please help save a life today!
