LOCAL NEWS FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS. APPEAL FOR WITNESSES FROM POLICE AFTER SERIES OF SNATCH THEFTS IN WOUGHTON AREA. Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after linking a series of snatch thefts in Milton Keynes. At 3.55pm on Thursday (27/2) in Fulwoods Drive, Leadenhall a 15-year-old girl had her white Apple iPhone 4s taken. At 4.20pm on Thursday (27/2) by the Eaglestone roundabout, Chaffron Way H7 a 13-year-old girl had her white Apple iPhone 4s. At 5pm on Thursday (27/2) near the Christian Centre, Strudwick Drive a13-year-old boy had his Nokia Lumia 520 taken. The offender strikes up a conversation with the victim and then grabs their phones before running off. The offender is a black man of a slim build. He was wearing a black beanie hat which covered his hair, dark green hooded jacket with a white zip, dark coloured baggy jeans and black shoes with white soles. Police believe it may be the same offender.
