LOCATED IN CAMPBELL RIVER OUT TO THE MECHANICS OR SOMEONE WHO IS MARRIED TO ONE? $4000 as is - 2007 FORD EXPLORER LIMITED 4X4 FULLY LOADED THE STORY: I bought this SUV May 28, 2014 and didnt start driving it until June 18, 2014. Soon after, when I was promised by the lady that sold it to me, swore there was nothing wrong with it, I started noticing numerous things wrong with it. The list of things that were wrong: Front brakes, Front Rotars, & the left lower front ball joint. So I got all this fixed, and it fixed the bouncing, the shaking when I braked at high speed (rotars were warped), and the squeeking (what I noticed). Then I posted it to sell, but now have noticed clunking and the radiator leaked out all of the coolant, so I now have deleted the post of this SUV for sale. So brought the SUV into a mechanic yesterday, and he told me I needed a new radiator, so he slapped in a new radiator today. Good thing I noticed this leak right away, or I could have blew the engine. But its working good again. So I questioned the mechanic about the clunking, and asked if it was the transmission or the transfer case, and he said its not the transmission, he said its the transfer case, and that I could get a used one for roughly about a $1000. So this explains why the motor still runs great! So otherwards it would cost you about $1000 and me about $2000-2500. I cant afford this. I only bought it mistakenly because once I sat in it, I loved the luxury, but cant afford the luxury. I didnt plan to buy a V8. So I now want a smaller vehicle, because it will only be me and my dtr, so its pointless to have such a big SUV. So today where its at, there is nothing else wrong with the SUV, I have only had it for 2 months, and fixed almost everything that was wrong with it, except now the transfer case. But I dont want to deal with it, and going to drive it less as possible, until its fixed or sold. PLAN: I know if a mechanic bought this nice SUV, the parts would cost next to nothing for them, and it would cost them nothing to fix. So I am offering to sell this SUV for $4000 (if fixed will def be worth $10,000). ANY OFFERS OR SUGGESTIONS?
