LOL. This is one of the key points in the whole debate about mens rights, vs feminism, in America, Canada, and parts of Europe. OVER AND OVER we hear feminists say that when it comes to the hateful, psychotic, anti-male, radical feminists who not only threaten to kill or castrate men, etc etc, but actively work to discriminate against men (ie, strip us of our rights) in law, social institutions, and pretty much everywhere)... Not all feminists are like that. We also hear CONSTANTLY, from those attempting to defend feminism and prevent it from being held responsible for the damage its doing, that Feminists only want equality between men and women. If EITHER of those were true, we should see a significant effort by those millions of feminists out there who are (supposedly) not like that, to stand up for mens rights, support men in seeking justice in the MANY areas where we are discriminated against, and in this particular case, to TAKE A STAND in supporting an International Mens Rights Conference that was recently canceled by a DoubleTree Hotel in Detroit, due to numerous threats of violence and death received by the hotel, from people (ie, feminists) who did NOT think that men had a RIGHT to hold a conference (with highly respected guest speakers on a variety of topics), in which the rights of men and boys were openly discussed (you know, like in a society where they had free speech??). This page was created by the organizer of the conference, to give the MILLIONS of feminists who say they are not like that, an opportunity to make a $25 donation, to help cover the added security costs incurred by the violent threats of feminists who ARE like that (though the conference was canceled by DoubleTree after this page was created, and had to be moved to another location. From those MILLIONS of feminists, who only want equality between men and women, a whopping total of $275 was donated-which given the specified donation amount of $25, means that a total of ELEVEN feminists (or less if some gave more than $25), cared enough about equality for men to donate. This, and a ton of other evidence in our everyday experiences, confirms what many of us already know: that very few feminists want equality when its MEN who are being discriminated against... and that yes,in fact, most feminists in the US, Canada, and Europe really ARE like that. avoiceformen/a-voice-for-men/to-all-the-feminists-who-arent-like-that/
