****LONG rant alert!!!!!!***** Yes the rotating teachers strikes this week are going to be an inconvenience to many of us, but please dont take the easy, ignorant and lazy stance of blaming the greedy teachers instead take a look at the corrupt Liberal government in B.C. that refuses to bargain in good faith that has lied to and misled any union they have negotiated with over the past decade. Teacher is one of the toughest and most important jobs in our society and if not funded and supplied properly they cant preform to the best of their abilities. The freeeducation and medical systems are supposed to be 2 of the great things about being a Canadian but the constant erosion of funding, job elimination and support from our government is destroying both industries yet in our apathy we will re-elect Ms. Clark and her shoe collection. If you do not have children, do NOT be fooled into believing this does not effect you, the future leaders of government and industry in Canada are right now in over stuffed class rooms, sharing outdated text books with teachers that are being neglected and ignored. This has long term effects on EVERY Canadian!
