LOVE GOD; LIVE LIFE; LOVE LIFE! LIVE GODLY WITH GODLY LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER DOING NO HARM TO ANYONE!!! For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery - but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Ephesians 5:31-33 NIV Apart from Gods express Command to Love the Lord our God with all our hearts, might, minds and souls; we are to love our neighbours as ourselves! We are basically to harm no one because love does no harm to its neighbour! Now going onto marriage; the only institution God likens His relationship with mankind to as in the above Scripture! Marriage is a profound mystery; a man leaves his parents and unites with his wife as one flesh! Who does that? Whoever gets that right will have peace in marriage. The man and the woman must get this right! Unite as one flesh! The key is the unite bit! The man must love his wife and the wife must respect her husband. This came up whilst discussing Christ and the Church! Father, Help us to recognise the value and importance of obeying Your Ordinances in marriage and in our relationship with You in Jesus Name. Amen!!! That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Titus 2:4,5 KJV This is part of the valuable roles of the older women in the Church. Where are these women today? Will the true godly women, the mothers in Israel stand up please? Who teaches these things today? In not teaching these things, we subscribe to the Word of God being blasphemed! Father, Help us; Give us role models - men and women who love and value the Lord and the Word of the Lord to teach to the younger generations in Jesus Name. Amen!!! Enjoy life with the woman whom you love all the days of your fleeting life which He has given to you under the sun; for this is your reward in life and in your toil in which you have labored under the sun. Eccesiastes 9:9 NASB To be able to enjoy the woman you love all the days of your fleeting life on earth is a gift and a blessing from the Lord God Almighty! Make the most of it; or strive to make this happen in your life as a man. Likewise, the women ought to make this concept their goal in life too. This is the true value of love. Marriage works with the right principles according to the Word of the Living God; all knowing, all Wise, all Present, all Powerful, all Kind, He Alone is God and Knows how to do the best thing for us! Father, Help us to apply the principles of Your Word in our daily lives; in marriage and all our ways in Jesus Name. Amen!!! You wives must submit to your husbands, as is fitting for those who belong to the Lord. And you husbands must love your wives and never treat them harshly. Colossians 3:18,19 Submission in marriage is not an easy thing for any wife to do; its a choice wives must make. If you make the right choice according to the Word of the Living God as described above, you will reap a just reward for your obedience in Jesus Christ! If men would truly learn to apply the principles of love in marriage, the wheels of that marriage will be truly well oiled and love will flow if both the man and woman embrace the principles guiding love according to the Word of God! Father, Help us to love one another in marriage and in our daily lives in Jesus Name. Amen!!! Now Peter was sitting out in the courtyard, and a servant-girl came to him. You also were with Jesus of Galilee, she said. But he denied it before them all. I dont know what youre talking about, he said. Then he went out to the gateway, where another servant-girl saw him and said to the people there, This fellow was with Jesus of Nazareth. He denied it again, with an oath: don’t know the man! After a little while, those standing there went up to Peter and said, Surely you are one of them; your accent gives you away. Then he began to call down curses, and he swore to them, I dont know the man! Immediately a cock crowed. Matthew 26: 69-75 (NIVUK) The weight of unfaithfulness and betrayal is much to carry for anyone. God hates for us to break faith with one another; especially in marriage, but also in daily living! Peter assured Jesus Christ of his faithfulness to the very end no matter what; however, he failed very badly, didnt he? We all must and should look inwards! Are we faithful? Remember, love does no harm to its neighbour! Breaking faith is harming one another when we do so! Father, Help us not to break faith but rather keep the Faith with You and with each other in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (24) And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, (25) not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25 NKJV We are to find ways to stir up love and good works in each other anf fan love to flame; even as we meet up with each other and have sweet fellowship. Even in resolving our differences; we must strive to do so peacefully! Rather, what do we do? We often just keep on stirring up dissension and causing disaffection amongst our brethren! We seem to love evil far more than we love good! May God Help us! Sin has practically become our master! Lord, Help us to obey Your Word and forsake sin, lies, falsehood and all evil and wickedness; rather to embrace LOVE in Jesus Name. Amen!!!
