LSP Cadet Class #93 Training Week 2: Orientation to Criminal Justice System & Louisiana Criminal Justice System / Use of Force Guidelines and Certifications This week, the men and women of LSP Cadet Class #93 are receiving lessons on the origins and workings of the criminal justice system, an orientation to the U.S. and Louisiana criminal justice system and laws, and legal and departmental guidelines on the use of force. Cadets are in the classroom this morning, but beginning this afternoon they will undergo their OC Spray and Taser certifications and practical drills.
