LSU Tiger Girls, Cheerleaders and Mike the Tiger Compete in the Cheer Your Disney Side Promotion by ESPN BATON ROUGE, La. – THE LSU Spirit Squad has been named a finalist in the Cheer Your Disney Side Promotion by ESPN with a chance to win a $100,000 grant for their program. Voting will be held online at ESPN/CheerMagic and ends on January 6. The squad with the most votes will win the grant and travel to Walt Disney World Resort to perform their routine. The winner will be announced on ESPN during the College Football Playoff Championship game on January 12. Fans that vote will be entered in to a sweepstakes for a 4-night trip for four to Walt Disney World Resort including airfare, accommodations and park passes. The squad submitted a 30-second entry video, a routine inspired by visiting a Disney Park, and were chosen as one of four finalists based on their creativity and Disney Theme Park inspiration. Other finalists include Auburn University, Rutgers University and Santa Monica College.
