LUHS athletes and parents, plan on attending the Fall athletics meeting on Wednesday, July 31: The Lakeland Union High School fall pre-season parent and athlete meeting will be held Wednesday, July 31, 6 p.m., in the high school auditorium. Athletes participating in girls’ tennis, boys’ soccer, girls’ swimming, football, dance, boys’ and girls’ cross country and volleyball should plan on attending with their parents. A general session will begin in the high school auditorium and then sport-specific meetings with head coaches will move to an area where the sport’s head coach will address his or her athletes and their parents. Topics covered will include, but will not be limited to, practice and game schedules, mandatory forms, medical procedures, expectations, etc. Athletes who had physicals this summer are encouraged to bring those forms with them to the meeting.
