LUNCH THIS FRIDAY WITH DENTAL ALUM, DR. PHOEBE GOOD The Columbia Office of Preprofessional Advising announces a lunch for students interested in attending dental school to meet and ask questions of Dr. Phoebe Good, an alumna of Columbia University. Dr. Good is currently a practicing orthodontist in San Francisco and San Jose, California. She is looking forward to talking with students about dental school, the process of choosing a specialty, developments in the field, and other questions you might have. The lunch will be held from 12-1:30pm in Lerner 403 H & I on Friday, November 22nd. Pizza will be served! Please register for this event here - https://calendar.columbia.edu/sundial/webapi/register.php?eventID=69016 Dr. Phoebe Good’s Bio Dr. Phoebe Good grew up in Miami, Florida, and pursued biomedical & mechanical engineering at Columbia University. She continued on to study dentistry at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. After completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, she attended residency at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Division of Orthodontics. She enjoyed that it was a 3 year program with a research component and comprehensive approach to orthodontic care. As Chief Resident of her class, she worked closely with the Chief Resident of the class above, and the seed was planted to someday share a practice with her now business partner Dr. Chad Sears. Dr. Good currently works both at her private practice with Dr. Chad Sears in Union Square, San Francisco, and part time in San Jose as an associate at Dr. Thien Buis Orthodontic practice. Phoebe lives in San Francisco with her husband Michael (recently married in March of 2013). They are excited to start a family together!
