Labor and Industries procedures......Did the public know that any claims made by individuals are first sent to a specialist to diagnose the problems ,then after receiving the diagnosis a state paid or on payroll, NURSE, is used to determine what actions to take along with the claims manager that has no medical schooling or background. if the state nurse cannot find a way to deny a claim it is sent to the medical directors office, which no one would give me a contact number for and when I asked for the head of that department i was told there was not one. I was told diagnoses was sent to this department which there is no contact number for and no person in charge....and then the state pays doctors to come in...i was told most third party contracted doctors the state uses are private owners of their practices....the doctor comes in and reviews the medical findings. So if the NURSE can not get the result the state wants from medical documents which paid professionals, specialists in their field have already determined...they look for other doctors to agree with the state interest in mind and not the injured worker. What a waste of money and process! Why even send us to specialist for a diagnosis and then spend mass money to deny it?!
