Labor day weekend is on the horizon, and it marks a point of transition for us and the other Search and Rescue units in King County. Our busy summer schedule will start shifting into our busy training schedule, as we gear up and refresh into this next year and prepare for the missions and weather we typically see in our Autumn and Winter months. However, before we release our grip on this great weather, we still have a couple weeks to go, Our local trails and water ways look to be quite busy with folks out for a last blast of Summer. Stay safe, take the 10 essentials with you on the trails, and be sure to wear a flotation device if you escape to our rivers or lakes.
