Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue ***XX-URGENT!! Puppy Aspen NEEDS OUR HELP!!*** Last night we received an email about a 13 week old puppy that had a wound to her rear leg that needed medical attention. This morning she was surrendered to us, at our vets office, and this is what we found! Her wound is at best guess 3-5 days old, dead tissue, massive infection (you could smell it 3 feet away from her) and with all this she is a sweet puppy! She had to go into surgery to have her wound cleaned and the dead skin removed so a drain could be put in and have it sutured up. We also needed to have a culture done because of the depth and length the wound was left untreated. She will be going to a loving foster home on antibiotics, pain meds and anything else she needs!
