Labs showed that it is Leukemia. They are now going to do a bone marrow aspirations, a lumbar puncture and a pick line. The bone marrow will determine type. They will also be injecting chemo into her spine.while she is under. She will be admitted and once they determine the type of leukemia then a treatment plan can be determined. Ashley is strong but my girls body has been through so much already. This is not her original 2 diagnoses. They will however be testing her fluid to make sure there are no signs of the ependymoma. They need to determine if this is a completely new cancer or a secondary cancer caused by the treatment she has had. She will be getting a blood transfusion today as well. Right now her ANC is so low (200) her body has no ability to fight infection. This is all so surreal. Please continue to pray for my girl.
