Lack of information is one of the problems health researchers say is responsible for a dramatic disparity in breast cancer outcomes for black women. They are 40 percent more likely than white women to die from breast cancer, even though their overall incidence of the disease is lower. The reasons aren’t entirely known, but experts say black women are less likely to have access to early screenings and treatment, largely for socioeconomic reasons. What do you think?
