Ladies and Gentlemen, the 33rd (!) Long Night of Museums is nigh! On August 31st Berlin will be hosting another fantastic museum extravaganza, giving you a unique opportunity to spend the evening exhibition-crawling to your content. Some 95 Berlin museums will be open for visitors from 6.00 PM until 2.00 AM! Berlinische Galerie, Jüdisches Museum, Kreuzberg Museum (or as it has been renamed of recent, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg Museum and the name I respectfully yet kindly refuse to accept:), the Mother-and-Child Bunker in Fichtestrasse and Museum Der Dinge aka Werkbundarchiv in Oranienstrasse 25 - here are some of the ideas for museum-crawling in Kreuzberg. And for those who are curious but not really into the artsy things I have two words: Medizinhistorisches Museum... The chill it´ll send down your spine will keep you very cool for the rest of the museum evening.
