Ladies and gentleman, after 11 years, tonight was my last shift ever working at the pasta house pronto in Kirkwood. Our last day of business is Sunday. Many of you who know me know that it wasnt just a stupid food service job to me, but a place that i often times called home and a safe haven during the points of my life when everything else seemed to be unstable. All of the jokes and its about time comments aside, I had the opportunity to work with hundreds of people throughout the years, some of which I know will be life long friends. Of course Ill miss my regular customers, especially the ones I never got to say goodbye to, but its time to finally tackle my inability to jump out of my comfort zone, and to take this as a positive opportunity to finally use my potential to the fullest extent. To Brent Oesterle, my little tater tot... Youre the only one left that has been there with me since the beginning. Im only a phone call away.
