Ladies and gentlemen, as I promised last week to look at rumors posted here on the Mbwiru Primary Harambee that was meant to construct classrooms for the school which was attended by national and regional leaders, here is the info. Mbwiru Primary School account is 01142467988. No money there. An account at the Co operative bank, Chuka, name Beatrice N Nyaga has been credited with Kshs 2,416,900.00 (two million, four hundred and sixteen hundred thousand, nine hundred shillings). Two checks, a cooperative bank one worth Kshs 500,000.00 (half a million) and another drawn from equity worth fifty thousand bounced. The total amount the committee projects was raised at the harambee is Kshs 3,206,900.00 Ladies and gentlemen, I believe there is an anomaly here. Money meant for public institutions should not be held in a private account, especially when the institution is under pressure to pay off debts it had acquired to organize the fundraising event. I call upon our leaders, Governor Ragwa, Hon Kithure Kindiki, Hon Njuki Muthomi, Hon Julius Gataya and all those other on FB to look into this matter while I and other gallant sons of Tharaka Nithi move to seek justice along channels that will see justice delivered. I have weighed the consequences of coming public with this information, the chance of losing friends and creating a wedge between the said supporters and I, but in the end, this information which I got from a committee member and verified with the bank and found it to be factual, the need for people to know the truth and funds be availed to the right people has carried the day. I and other like minded friends, John Champ (Chap Chap), Thaddeaus Anari and others will be calling a press conference within the week and go live on national TV and radios to call for action against this if matters are not rectified.
