Ladies, beware of "sliders." No, not those delicious White Castle burgers. These sliders pull up along your car while you are pumping gas. The passenger slides out, staying below roof level, opens your door, and steals your purse. Most women will place their purse on the passenger seat or on the console. Thus, the thief just reaches in, grabs it, slides back into their car and they drive off. Watched it on Yahoo last night. One gas station showed a video of a steal. Took only 17 seconds. Has been happening in 5 states already. Either keep your purse on your arm or take your keys and lock doors while pumping gas is what is being suggested.
