Ladies, let me allay your fears. I have inspected our prospective retreat venue and can confirm that it will be big enough. The common room is approximately 7m x 11m (thatss me steppng it out), with tables and chairs as we require. Currently, there are 9 tables and Paul will supply as many as we want. The Kitchen has 2 stoves and a large fridge with a cold room near the entrance. Outdoors there is a gas bar-b-q. The common room has a wood heater and whiteboard, 3 x2 seater sofas and a flat screen TV. The sleeping arrangements are 2 beds to a room with 8 rooms. (16 guests if we all share). There are 2 bathrooms with a total of 6 shower cubicles and at least 5 toilets plus a urinal (if anyone is up for the challenge). The place looks a bit spartan but I think it will fill our needs. Look at the photos and decide for yourself. First 2 views of the kitchen, one of the bedrooms and the common room with my little precious who had a great time investigating. The doorways on the left lead down two corridors to the bedrooms with the bathrooms at the far end. The doorway on the right leads to the kitchen. The shower cubicles only have curtains on them but each bathroom itself has a door which can be closed for those of us who are shy.
