Lady Gaga said something on the TV show this morning which hit home with me. Almost made me cry because Ive been struggling with my photography career. She said we shouldnt waste our talent and passion and should share it with the world (paraphrased). It never seems to me as if my work is important from a spiritual standpoint but as I listened to her I looked around my living room. I have a painting of a lighthouse on my wall which gives me hope when Im down. I have two prints on the front wall which are from my travels to St. Augustine and Barbados. On the back wall is a photograph which when I look at, I aspire to have a poster like that published someday (its a fence and trees in a snow covered area). So, I suppose if other peoples artwork can make my life happy, fulfilled and yet striving to be better, perhaps mine can do the same for others.
