Agenda: LENA’s Annual Meeting Wednesday, November 13, 2013 Pinney Library Introductions: Approval of Minutes from October 9, 2013 Meeting Annual Reports from Board of Directors New Business: Future Speakers Garage Sale 2014 Update Picnic 2014 Update Reminders: No LENA Meeting in December - Next Meeting: January 8th Pizza Party for LENA Members – VFW – January 19th Nomination and elections (By-Laws Section 2): Nominations for Directors may be made by any member present at the annual meeting. A member may nominate himself or herself. No member present shall nominate more than one additional candidate for the Board. When a slate of candidates has been selected by the members, the nominees receiving the highest number of ballots shall fill any or all vacancies on the Board. In case of any tie vote, a subsequent ballot or vote of the members shall be cast. Election of Officers (By-Laws Section 3): The Board shall elect the officers of the Association during or immediately after the annual meeting of the membership. The officers of the Association shall be President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer who shall be elected for the term of one year or until a successor is duly elected. No one shall be eligible for the office of President, Vice-President, Secretary or Treasurer who is not a duly elected member of the Board of Directors.
