Lake Haven is asking members the following..... Many of you know that Lake Haven not only pulls animals from our county shelter, we also pull from surrounding area shelters in West Michigan. While we try and do our very best in assisting as many animals as we can, the plain fact is, we cant take them all....I wish we could. We have limited facility space and the majority of our animals are in foster care. So please, do not post animals on our facebook page that are not currently in our program (i.e animals on Craigslist, animals on urgent lists from out of state, etc.). We have noticed the increasing posting of animals that are not in Lake Havens program and this confuses people when they are looking to adopt. If you do know of an animal in need or one you would like to have Lake Haven to take in our program, please email the Director at [email protected]. She will want details on the animal, photos, and personality traits. Thank you!
