Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Company will host a kids Halloween party tomorrow from 11:00am to 3:00pm! Each child will receive a hot dog & drink, goody bag and a pumpkin, plus there will be a Halloween Contest with prizes, food, crafts, games, raffles and much more! Admission is $5.00 (charge is for children only). This Halloween, remember these safety tips from Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Co.: 1. Costumes should be of loose fitting flame retardant materials. 2. Avoid full mask, If must wear a mask have large eye holes for good vision and proper fitting to avoid sliding down and blocking your sight. 3. Have children travel in groups of 2 or more, use crosswalks and always look both ways when crossing the street. 4. Use reflective materials on costume and treat bags, carry flashlights, never use candles as lighting. 5. Have your parents inspect your candy before eating.
