Lamb meatballs in sherry-cinnamon tomato sauce. First, I mixed ground lamb , 85-15 beef, a duck egg, panko crumbs, mint, parsley, pepper and lemon juice (i didnt have zest). In a saute pan, I sauteed onion and a garlic clove, cooled it and then added it to the mixture. I mixed it lightly then refrigerated it for one hour to meld the flavors. Browned the meatballs in oil. Made a sauce from tomato sauce , garlic powder, cinnamon and sherry. Tossed the meatballs in the sauce to coat.My lamb craving is now satisfied !!
