Landlord UPDATE - ok - this is good stuff to know - she is in breach of her obligation and responsibilities as a land lord and as such under section 54 she will be served with a 14 day notice to remedy - which means she has 14 days to fix the stove elements and the rotting doors or face a big fine At the same time there is a 100% chance that the tribunal will null and void her 90 day notice because it was a retaliatory reaction to my asking for repairs which is a huge no no - and they will have to pay my lodgement fee for being put in this horrible position of having to take this action and make this claim She has no idea what is coming - her reluctance to fix the problems at the beginning are going to be enforced and they will have no choice but to comply or face big fines - thousands - her statement to me on the phone that they simply do not have the time is going to change .... i have the whole email conversation as evidence as well all in my favor and all has to be given in the submission which is now lodged at a cost of $20.44 The thing is here - i have never done anything like this before and felt really sick in my gut - i dont like hurting people ....i said to the guy maybe we just get them to fix the elements and he said no get them to fix every thing that is their responsibility and they have not treated you with respect ..... and then it hit me - it really is about being dis respected and not valued ....and me going through with this even though its going to make them so angry ....is me standing up for myself and respecting ME acting with respect to my self and my rights ..... i am not looking forward to their response as they will have to contact me to gain access to the house ....i dont want them in here without me being here as i dont want them snooping around ..... i will however look for another place to live as i no longer feel this is my home or can ever be .....i dont know where to from here .....but I am nervously letting go and seeing what comes ..... thank you all for your offers, your comments suggestions and love - I feel very blessed to have you as friends ..... today the anger has subsided and integrated and what shall be will be .....bless
