Landlord saga pt. 6. After the letter stating that I am not allowed to contact them because of my constant complaining,and then blocking my emails, Claudeous received this: ( Note the constant reference to my complaining and that the entire misunderstanding is my fault. The fact that the wife wouldnt stay off my property and kept using my water & then slamming the door in my face when i asked her not to, them using my name on the gas bill to run their illegal gas line to their garage on the back of the property that they decided to convert into a house - illegally, the fact that they fill up my trash cans and come thru my yard every week, their son telling me I have no rights cuz Im just the tenant so deal with it., the fact that their junk is EVERYWHERE, the fact that they come over every day, all day, the fact that they use my mailbox....... ALL MY FAULT and I have no right to say a word!!!! ) I have waited to hear from you regarding Kim’s complaints since and before July 23. She appears to be very upset with your lease arrangement and wants to terminate your lease to find another home. We are very sorry she is upset but we feel we have made several attempts to help her understand what it was we had originally agreed on and what we can and cannot do about her concerns. I am not exactly clear on her major concern. There appears to be so many. Scooby we had offered you the lease arangment so you could feel comfortable knowing you wouldn’t have a rent increase or be forced to move again. It was more for you than for us. We have made two attempts to sit down with you guys to discuss our arrangement face to face but it appears you have been too busy on both occasions. I truly wanted you to be happy at the house but it seems there is no way Kim will be satisfied with our agreement. If you wish to be released from the lease to find another home I will let you terminate it and will not hold it against you as long as you pay for the time you are there and whatever utilities you use along with leaving the place as it was when you moved in. I would still like for all of us to get together and discuss the original understanding and try to go over and to once again explain what our intentions were. It takes time to accomplish our goals due to refurbishing the back house and all. We do plan to remove the storage containers on the property and everything else we had discussed however at this point and time I feel the information provided will not be received by Kim or satisfy he. I fear she will have a misunderstanding once again. You both should be happy with your home where ever it is and I don’t think we will be able to satisfy her at this point. I know that when you rent it is difficult to get all the things you hope for. Heck even when you buy a home you don’t get everything desired. Please let me know what you guys decide to do so we can end all this hostility and move forward. Please feel free to call me or stop by my office at the Casino anytime. Thank you Scooby.
