Landscape Supervisor Job description We require a landscape supervisor to deliver landscape build and maintenance contracts. Work includes all aspects of landscape construction including machine excavator work, installation of play equipment, flagging, fencing, walling, planting, etc. Ideally you should have experience of supervising staff. You will be expected to have knowledge of on-site health and safety, the ability to carry out risk assessments and complete relevant paperwork. A full driving license is an essential requirement for the post. Level 2 or 3 in landscape or building based construction and appropriate licenses to carry out landscape work such as chainsaw or herbicide application would be desirable, as would a first aid at work certificate, valid CSCS card and current tickets for using plant and machinery such as excavators, dumpers or fork lift trucks. The ability to delivery training in practical landscape/building construction work would also be an advantage.
