Landscaping is not in my realm of expertise but I went and purchased some small colorful plants and two gardenia bushes and planted them in my yard. Growing up my parents had a gardenia bush in our yard and Rachels parents did as well, so I planted them in their memory. I looked over at my boxwoods and said that they need a trim and I began to think about picking up afterwards and I said, not today. Then I realized that I have this 14 year old 8th grader.
