After a successful early career in the pharmaceutical industry, he co-founded Langland with his wife Joanna in 1991. The agency has come a long way from the early days as a start-up in their house in Windsor. Langland now employs almost 100 people, works with three-quarters of the worlds top 20 pharma companies and is recognised as the worlds most creatively awarded healthcare advertising agency. Philip was presented with his award last week at a graduation ceremony for life sciences students. In his acceptance speech, he gave this years graduates four key pieces of advice for success in the workplace: keep learning; focus on others and not yourself; work hard but dont be hard work; and embrace change. Im sure youll all join us in congratulating Philip on his very well-deserved award.
